Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member for the meat department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist customers, and follow SOPs to ensure quality and safety.

This role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment. No prior retail experience required; physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours including nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to follow Weights and Measures, health and sanitation procedures.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by checking quality and stocking cases and shelves.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program and keep sample areas clean.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and equipment as required.
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, and merchandising.
• Follow established procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
