Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist customers, and follow health and safety regulations.

No prior retail experience is required; training is provided. This position involves lifting, standing, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, with opportunities to contribute to store programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones promptly.
