Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. The role emphasizes courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members while following Standard Operating Procedures and health regulations.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to deliver courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fresh, appealing display by checking quality; keep cases and shelves clean and stocked; rotate products.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors and drains as required.
• Provide excellent customer service; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures; adhere to safety standards.
