Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain clean displays, stock quality products, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends, and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards while contributing to a fast-paced, friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to friendly, courteous customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for health, sanitation, and safety.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
