Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for the meat department to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will ensure a clean, fresh display, provide courteous and efficient service, and adhere to health and safety standards.

Training and mandatory shifts support a collaborative work environment with a focus on quality and customer experience. Ideal candidates are prepared for a fast-paced setting, can lift up to 50 pounds, and commit to flexible scheduling including nights

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and meet customer service expectations.
• Learn basic knowledge of department products and display standards.
• Visually inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Read labels and familiarize with products.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; keep cases and shelves stocked; rotate products.
• Maintain back stock and cleanliness of areas.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas neat and appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and equipment as required.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
