Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. The role prioritizes friendly, efficient customer service and adherence to health, safety, and SOP guidelines across the store.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, assisting with sampling, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh and appealing meat display, keep cases stocked, rotate and remove out-of-date products.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, and floors; follow health and sanitation standards.
• Participate in sampling program and keep sample areas clean and attractive.
• Perform opening/closing duties, verify pricing and signage, and report safety hazards.
