Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills.

• Experience in production, merchandising and customer service related to meat products.
• Knowledge of department operations and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop maximum customer relations through friendliness and courtesy and implementation of all company policies.
• Keep department temperature logs updated and train associates on logs.
• Price and display merchandise with proper signage, rotation, and quality control.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Train and develop Meat department employees and ensure proper use of learned skills.
• Implement company programs and maintain a harassment-free work environment.
• Assist in hiring, firing and evaluating meat department staff.
• Promote and communicate company initiatives to direct reports.
