Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for the meat department in our club. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, including grinds, while assisting in seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and deli areas.

This role supports the rotisserie chicken area and full-service deli, with a focus on safety and member satisfaction. We emphasize teamwork, speed, and quality; maintain sanitation standards; and deliver outstanding service to our Members every day.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures and ensures sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
