Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to stock, label, and present meat products while maintaining cleanliness and safety in the department. You will assist customers with purchases and ensure accurate pricing and tagging during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Meat dept preferred.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship program completed preferred.
• Knowledge of natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present meat cases with proper pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness of meat aisles, storage area, and work area.
• Rotate products and monitor expiration dates.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection at the meat counter.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other meat department equipment safely.
• Prepare specialty meat and seafood products per recipe standards.
