Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and prepared meats, including grinds. Assists in seafood, prepared foods, and deli, and handles special meat orders while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to club standards, and accurate service. A $1,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay are offered in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to Members by making recommendations regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weights, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
