Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts on member request. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and customer service within a busy store environment.

You will maintain sanitation, stock cases, assist in the deli/seafood areas, and ensure adherence to safety standards and club policies. Training and meat cutting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assist in merchandising of seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and pre-packed deli.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Stock the meat, seafood, cheese, and deli cases and rotate by expiration dates.
• Assist in rotisserie chicken area and full-service deli.
