Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring to support the fresh meat department. The role involves daily cutting of beef, pork, and grind and writing fresh meat orders to meet the production schedule.

You will organize deliveries, check in stock, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hi-lo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
