Fresh Thyme Market in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our Meat Department team. You will stock, trim, weigh, and package meat and seafood, and assist customers with selections while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in meat or grocery retail; journeyman cutter preferred. We offer weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and paid parental leave.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in meat department or grocery retail.
• Journeyman cutter or apprenticeship program completed preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Stock meat cases with correct presentation and pricing.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of meat aisles and work areas.
• Monitor rotation and expiration of meat products.
• Assist customers with purchases and product selection at the meat counter.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy and quality.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and related equipment.
• Maintain proper temperatures during production of meat/seafood items.
• Weigh, label, and package meat products following dating procedures.
• Prepare specialty meat/seafood items per recipe standards.
• Maintain organization and sanitation throughout the department.
