Whole Foods Market is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to cut, prep, display, and sell meat products while upholding company standards and health regulations. You will train and mentor Meat Cutter Trainee(s) and ensure accurate signage, pricing, and stock rotation in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, weekend availability, strong teamwork, and a commitment to food safety and high-quality customer service in a busy department.

Qualifikationen

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program, or equivalent training.

Aufgaben

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven ready products, and cured meats).
• Checks product to meet WFM quality standards.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Monitors and assists in preventing spoilage.
• Mentors and supports Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Arrives on time and works all scheduled shifts; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary environment; handles equipment safely.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
