H-E-B is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide a well-stocked, well-maintained meat department and superior customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding safety standards.

The role requires cutting, trimming, bones, operating grinders and slicers, weighing and labeling packages, and rotating stock in the cooler. Strong customer service and sanitation knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience or training in meat cutting.
• Knowledge of product rotation and department sanitation.
• Ability to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Meat cutter certification/training completed within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Cuts, trims, and bones meat for display or as ordered.
• Operates electric grinder, saw, slicer and sharpener as needed.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels product packages for counter display.
• Rotates product in meat cooler, ensuring proper storage practices.
• Assists customers with product questions and selections.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation standards.
