Job summary

The role requires 1+ year of related experience, knowledge of product rotation, sanitation, and customer communication. You’ll operate meat-cutting equipment and assist customers with selections in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ requirement.
• 1+ year of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of product rotation and department sanitation.
• MS Outlook, Word and Excel proficiency.
• Meat-cutting skills with saw and grinder.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, and bones meat for display or as ordered, per standards.
• Operates electric grinder, saw, sharpener, tenderizer, and slicer.
• Weighs, wraps, labels, and rotates product for counter display.
• Maintains proper storage in meat cooler and adherence to safety regs.
• Assists customers with product questions and selections.
• Uses Telxon for production scans and supports production lists.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of display cases and equipment.
• Complies with all food safety standards and SOPs.
