Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the team. You will open availability and work shifts between 5 am and 2 pm Sundays through Saturdays, handling open cases for fresh and processed meats, rotisserie chicken, and related duties.

Maintain sanitation, assist in merchandising, and ensure club policies are followed. Must complete a training program or apprenticeship, have previous meat cutting experience, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by Members.
• Cut, grind, and process fresh meats to company standards.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meat to packaging standards.
• Maintain meat department stock, displays, and signage.
• Ensure sanitation and safety within the meat department.
