Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department Team Member in Easton, MD. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats, including special cuts ordered by Members, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities include stocking cases, labeling, and assisting Members with recommendations. A 1000 sign-on bonus is offered, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages and provides assistance to our Members by making recommendations along with answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and/or processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures; ensures proper stock levels and sanitation.
