Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Baltimore is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts ordered by Members, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You will assist in seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and deli areas as needed and ensure correct stock, signage, and rotation. A strong emphasis on teamwork and member-first service is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in meat department.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises meats to standards.
• Weighs, labels, and packages cuts for case presentation.
• Maintains meat, seafood, and deli cases with proper stock and signage.
• Rotates products by expiry dates and disposes of damaged items per policy.
• Works with team to deliver member-focused service and safety compliance.
