BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter for our meat department in Maryland. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, while assisting in deli and rotisserie areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
