You will deliver courteous service, maintain high quality standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety rules in a fast-paced team setting. Responsibilities include cutting and merchandizing beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry; maintaining product quality; mentoring trainees; and ensuring accurate signage and pricing while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Able to follow procedures and safety rules
• Excellent meat cutting skills and knowledge of cuts

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Checks product quality against standards.
• Maintains sampling program.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Arrives on time with proper grooming and attire.
• Provides courteous customer service and assists with inquiries.
• Rotates and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Follows health, sanitation, and Weights & Measures procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe workstation and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; verifies pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
