Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to perform cutting, preparation, and display of beef, pork, and other meats. You will ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized department throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include preparing specialty products, mentoring trainees, and supporting store programs. The role requires teamwork, strong cutting skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail meat cutting experience or training preferred.
• Completion of butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, platters, and merchandise meat products.
• Prepare specialty meat merchandise (sausages, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Maintain quality standards and sampling program.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper pricing; follow health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling to customers.
