BJ’s Wholesale Club in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to perform standard meat cutting, trimming, wrapping, and merchandising duties.

You will assist Members with cuts, maintain sanitation, rotate stock, and ensure product quality while following club policies. This role requires a training program or apprenticeship and prior meat cutting experience; 18+; physical duties including lift up to 50 lbs; a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Rotates meats and maintains inventory in the meat department.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and displays in the meat area.
• Receives and inspects meat upon delivery.
