Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat.
• Maintains meat department stock, sanitation, and safety standards; ensures proper inventory and display.
