BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a Meat Department position. You will engage with Members, assist with meat selections, and prepare/meat cuts to meet customer orders in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires prior meat-cutting experience and a training/apprenticeship. You will handle wrapping machines, maintain sanitation, and ensure product availability while upholding club standards.

Formación

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weights, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat department inventory and ensures proper stocking of cases.
• Rotates products according to expiration dates and disposes of damaged items as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and display areas in the meat department.
• Receives and inspects meats on delivery and ensures quality standards are met.
