BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a meat department role in Quakertown. This position involves receiving, cutting, wrapping, and merchandising meat, seafood, and prepared foods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will help ensure accurate pricing, product presentation, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package; applicants must be 18+ and have meat cutting experience or training.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels.
• Maintains meat department inventory; ensures cases are stocked and rotated by expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
• Receives and inspects meat deliveries to meet quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting in other departments as needed.
