BJs Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department role in Warrington, PA. The job involves assisting Members with meat, poultry, and seafood, preparing and wrapping meat cuts, and maintaining quality and sanitation in the department. Candidates should have prior meat cutting experience and complete a training program or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by answering questions and making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards; weighs, wraps, labels accordingly.
• Maintains meat department sanitation and stock levels, rotating products by expiration dates.
• Inspects received meat and ensures quality standards are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
