Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to join our store team in Quincy, MA. You will cut, grind, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist in the deli and seafood areas, and ensure sanitation and purchase standards align with club policies.

You’ll rotate meat, manage inventory, and help deliver quality service to Members. Successful candidates will have a meat cutting apprenticeship or equivalent training and prior experience, plus the ability to work a flexible

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Engages members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, weighs, wraps, and labels meat, poultry, and seafood to company standards.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in the meat department.
• Receives and inspects meat deliveries.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains club policies.
