Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Department role. You will cut, grind, wrap, and package fresh meats to our standards, assist in seafood and prepared foods, and help maintain the rotisserie and deli areas. You will also ensure proper stock, sanitation, and safety in the department.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to excellent member service. Training is provided; attendance is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels products.
• Ensures the meat case and related displays are fully stocked and rotated by shelf life.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards throughout the meat department.
• Performs other duties and supports club policies as needed.
