Job summary

Meijer in Jeffersontown, KY is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, and to follow the production schedule to meet advertised cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership while upholding safety and sanitation standards. Previous experience with inventory control and CAO tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using CAO (Computer Assisted Ordering) applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
