Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to assist daily in the fresh meat department, handling cutting operations and helping meet the store's production schedule. You will work with coworkers to ensure quality and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and leadership. Experience with inventory control and packaging is preferred, along with a valid hand jack/forklift license.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
