Job summary

Harps Meat Department is seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to manage department operations, including staffing, inventory, and standards of display and safety. You will ensure proper production and labeling, and uphold food safety guidelines across all duties.

As a Manager Cutter, you will build relationships, demonstrate reliability, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Harps' mission of value, quality, freshness, and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three years experience in meat market or retail grocery store preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meat department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, pricing, policies, inventory, cleanliness, and safety.
• Support replenishment and inventory processes: ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock and returns.
• Maintain merchandising and sales floor standards, displays, signing and sampling.
• Ensure food production guidelines, proper packaging, labeling and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to equipment procedures, cleaning and maintenance.
• Demonstrate safety, quality orientation and problem solving in daily tasks.
