Job summary

Boarman's Old Fashioned Meat Market is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join the team. You will operate the meat department, trim and prepare standard cuts, and follow the store’s merchandising plan to drive sales and profitability.

You will cut and trim meat, package and display products attractively, and ensure quality by inspecting arrivals and maintaining cold-chain standards. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipment.
• Package and display meat in an attractive manner.
• Order inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Receive and inspect meat as it arrives at the store.

Job Summary

As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for operating the meat department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified in-store guidelines and follow the store’s meat merchandising plan. The Meat Cutter’s goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability.
