Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team-oriented butcher/ meat cutter to assist with cutting fresh beef, pork, and grind.

You will follow the production schedule to ensure timely fulfillment of advertised meat cuts and maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Qualifications include familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing, adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and packaging.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
