Job summary

Meijer in Ohio seeks a meat cutter to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork and grind, and to follow the production schedule to meet demand for advertised cuts.

The role requires familiarity with weights and measures, strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with packaging/presentation, as well as using Computer Assisted Ordering and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind.
• Follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
