Join our meat team at Sam’s Club where you’ll help ensure the quality, packaging, and display of meat items for our members. You’ll contribute to a high-quality shopping experience through attention to detail and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Base pay range
$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the preparation of meat products to established standards; cutting boneless meat products; and maintaining product quality standards.
- Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage members; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality decisions.
- Be an Owner: Maintains work area per company policies and procedures; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; and ensures packaging, labeling, and storage comply with policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products while modeling energy and commitment.
- Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; follows Open Door Policy and business processes accordingly.
- Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; sets priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; and adapts to feedback.
