Zusammenfassung

Saver Group, Inc. is hiring a Meat Cutter to keep our meat department running smoothly in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will trim and prepare beef, pork and poultry to our standard cuts, and ensure all displays are neat, appealing and compliant with company policies.

You will receive thorough training, work with quality products, and contribute to customer satisfaction through accurate merchandising and safe handling practices.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Aufgaben

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to the policies and procedures.
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to the procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A lot policy.

Job Summary

The Meat Cutter ensures the store’s meat department operates at the standards set by the company, driving sales and maximizing profitability. The Meat Cutter delivers the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by following the company’s meat merchandising plan and trimming /preparing standard cuts of meat.
