Job summary

Saver Group is seeking a Meat Cutter to ensure the meat department meets company standards and drives sales through quality cuts and attractive merchandising.

The role involves trimming and preparing standard cuts, stocking the display, and maintaining sanitation following company policies. Prior meat department experience and the ability to lift 50 lbs are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to the policies and procedures.
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to the procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A lot policy

Job Summary
