Fairchilds Marketplace Llc is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join our store team. You will operate the meat department to high standards, trim and prepare standard cuts, and follow in-store merchandising plans to drive sales and profitability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with meat cutting equipment, stands for long periods, and can lift up to 30 lbs while maintaining safety and sanitation protocols in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipment.
• Package and display meat in an attractive manner.
• Order inventory and maintain appropriate levels of stock.
• Receive and inspect meat as it arrives to the store.
• Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high quality.
• Follow high standards of sanitation and quality control.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join the team at our successful store. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for operating the meat department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will trim and prepare standard cuts of meat as specified in-store guidelines and follow the store's meat merchandising plan. The Meat Cutter's goal is to drive sales within the meat department and maximize profitability.
