Job summary

Saver Group, Inc is seeking a Meat Cutter to run the store's meat department in accordance with company standards, drive sales and maximize profitability while delivering top-tier customer service and maintaining product quality.

The role involves preparing and displaying cuts, inspecting deliveries, and upholding strict sanitation and quality controls consistent with company policy.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to the policies and procedures
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to the procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A lot policy

Job Summary
