Job summary

Saver Group is seeking a Meat Cutter to maintain the store’s meat department standards, drive sales, and maximize profitability through high-quality cuts and customer service.

You will trim and prepare standard cuts, following merchandising plans and upholding sanitation and product integrity to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment, including but not limited to knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, and power saw preferred
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment, cuts and/or packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to the policies and procedures
• Prepares and places meat cuts and products in the display counter according to the procedures so they will appear attractive and appealing to the customers
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery, to maintain cold chain and ensures meat quality.
• Ensures excellent sanitation and quality standards are met daily which adhere to Save A lot policy

Job Summary
