Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. The role emphasizes friendly, efficient customer service and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean displays, managing back stock, assisting sampling, and upholding WFM quality goals. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends may be required at times.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in cold environments may be required.
• Adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display by stock, rotation, and cleanliness.
• Maintain back stock, assist sampling, and keep areas clean.
• Provide courteous customer service and suggestive selling.
• Prep, store, rotate, and merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Follow procedures including Weights and Measures and safety rules.
• Assist with opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
