Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will ensure a courteous, friendly, and efficient customer experience while upholding health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean cases, assisting with sampling, and promoting product knowledge. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are common in this role.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by stocking, rotating, and keeping cases clean.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas tidy.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, floors, and drains as required.
• Reports on-time attendance and required trainings.
• Delivers courteous customer service and suggests add-on sales.
• Preps, stores, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work and shopping environment.
• Handles opening, mid, and closing duties and checks pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and complies with regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
