Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading skills for handling pricing, labels, equipment, and inventory.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Ability to operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must adhere to store policies and safety standards and the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with purchases and services such as slicing, grinding, repackaging, and serving suggestions.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for meat products per policies and regulations.
• Maintain adequate product supply and proper display in cases and deli.
• Clean up wrapping, scaling, and production equipment per sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations and recipes.
• Grind meat and prepare kabobs, marinated cuts, and special orders.
• Handle meat products with proper storage and disposal practices.
• Operate knives, saws, grinders safely and responsibly.
• Order and inventory products and supplies as assigned.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth department operations and customer experience.
• Perform any other related duties as required.
