service, assist customers with meat selections, and ensure products are fresh, properly displayed, and labeled. The role supports daily department operations including cutting, packaging, and labeling while upholding food safety standards. You will assist with inventory, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to a positive shopping experience through friendly and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow safety, food safety, and store policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with purchases and services such as slicing, grinding, repackaging, and serving suggestions.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for meat products per policies and regulations.
• Maintain proper stock levels and display for cases and deli products.
• Clean up wrapping, scaling, and equipment per sanitation procedures.
• Follow all safety, health, weights and measures regulations and recipes.
• Grind meat and prepare specialty items like kabobs and marinated cuts.
• Handle meat safely including storage and disposal.
