Stater Bros. Markets is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver G.O.A.T. service to customers.

You will assist with meat selections, ensure freshness and proper display, and support daily department operations including cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling while upholding food safety standards. Responsibilities include helping customers, weighing and pricing products, maintaining inventory, and working with the team to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading skills for pricing, labeling, inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with meat purchases and related services (slicing, repackaging, etc.).
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing per policies and regulations.
• Maintain proper stock in cases and deli per standards and schematics.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; follow safety procedures.
• Handle meat processing equipment safely and efficiently and follow all food safety rules.
• Order and inventory products and supplies as assigned; work with team to ensure smooth operations.
