Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking an experienced MDS Nurse to lead the resident assessment process and coordinate high-quality care for seniors in a Christian not-for-profit setting. You will oversee MDS activities, collaborate with the care team and families, and ensure compliance with RAC-CT and nursing standards.

Qualifications

Graduate from NLN- or AACN-accredited nursing program preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Current unencumbered RN license in state of practice; multi-state licensure acceptable if applicable.

Responsibilities

Lead nursing staff using the nursing process to plan and evaluate resident care.
Oversee Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes and RAC-CT activities.
Coordinate admission assessments and ongoing resident evaluations to ensure quality of life.
Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure comprehensive care.
