Job summary

Copper Ridge Health & Assisted Living Center is seeking a nurse for an MDS role in a skilled nursing facility. The MDS nurse collects and analyzes data to support resident health in Medicare/Medicaid certified homes while coordinating with staff and families.

Ideal candidates are organized and interested in management positions, with a commitment to high standards. COVID vaccination or approved exemption is required. Competitive salary, PTO, and flexible shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Registered Nursing Licensure (or compact/multi-state license)
• Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nursing Licensure (or compact/multi-state license)
• BLS/CPR certification
• In-depth knowledge of MDS, nursing care methods, health, and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' health and well-being from admission to end of stay using the MDS process.
• Plan, document and submit the compiled information.
• Maintain complete healthcare records and reports in PCC.
• Investigate patient/family complaints and act to resolve them.
