Copper Ridge Health & Assisted Living Center is seeking an MDS Coordinator to oversee MDS processes in a skilled nursing setting. The role focuses on organizing information for resident care from admission through discharge, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and maintaining comprehensive medical records.

The ideal candidate will have MD RN or LPN licensure, BLS/CPR, MDS knowledge, and strong communication with staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• MDS process knowledge and nursing care methods required.
• BLS/CPR certification mandatory.
• Maryland RN or LPN license (or compact) required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required.
• AANAC certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor residents' health from admission through stay.
• Plan, document and submit compiled information.
• Ensure care plans reflect required care and safety guidelines.
• Maintain complete healthcare records, including PCC usage.
• Investigate patient/family complaints and resolve issues.
