Responsibilities

• Document all treatments, changes in condition, and maintain medical records.
• Assure facility compliance with regulations and policies.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants to meet resident care needs.
• Assist physicians with examinations and treatments as ordered.
• Prepare and administer medications and procedures as directed.
• Transcribe and act on physician orders including Care Plan changes.
• Assist with admissions and discharge assessments and related paperwork.
• Coordinate and oversee MDS assessments and transmissions.
• Prepare/update Care Plans and Care Area Assessments as needed.
• Participate in Care Plan meetings with residents and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Attend work punctually and report absences per policy.
• Assist Administrator with discharge planning procedures.
